Communities Manager at the OpenSSL Foundation | Jon Quixote

I had to look it up, but yes it does have more meaning for us. We’re not quite done with the weeping over what we lost this past year, but 2025 promises to be blessed in a very different way than 2024. One consolidation: this job didn’t exist until the end of this year. If I hadn’t been rejected so often, I wouldn’t have applied or been interested in interviewing.

Your assumption is exactly correct. There discussion on the project’s mailing lists and GitHub issues. In the last few months, OpenSSL has been putting together business and technical advisory committees and there is a conference in October. One of my goals is to get a good sense of who is out there and figure out how to point everyone in the same direction.

It’s going to be big challenge, but not starting from scratch by any means.
