While connecting accounts to my site, I decided to update to the latest version of the Minima theme which supports rel=“me” links:
The trouble is Minima v3 is best used as a remote theme. I struggled with trying to fix conflicts, but in the end I removed all the directories that override remote themes and added customizations back in.
